A passenger plane caught fire at its tail while getting ready for take off from an airport in South Korea on Tuesday, January 28, around 10:15 pm local time.

In a report by Reuters, the plane belonging to South Korean carrier Air Busan was preparing for departure to Hong Kong at Gimhae International Airport when the incident happened.

The occurrence then forced the evacuation of all 169 passengers and seven crew members.

According to Yonhap news agency, the number of injured victims from the fire has risen to seven.

Authorities said four of the victims were crew members who complained of chest discomfort due to smoke inhalation, while the three others – a woman in her 70s and two in their 50s – complained of pains in their tailbones and backs.
