A man in Bengaluru, India, tragically died after a group of teens played a prank on him, challenging him to sit on a box filled with firecrackers.
Witnesses reported that the man, named Shabari, appeared intoxicated at the time.
The pranksters, including one of Shabari's friends, reportedly promised him an auto-rickshaw if he completed the challenge.
After the firecrackers exploded, Shabari collapsed to the ground; although he was rushed to the hospital, he sadly passed away during treatment.

While the investigation was rolling, 6 individuals aged 18 to 22 were arrested and could possibly face legal complaints.
According to Shabari's mother, he was working as a laborer and was on his way home when the incident happened.

The suspect allegedly asked for his motorcycle tank to be fully filled, however, he only paid ₱50. In a CCTV footage, the rider parked his motorcycle on one side of the gasoline station, took out a machete from his utility box, and swung it right in the face of the gasoline boy. Thankfully, the suspect was caught by a security guard, and the victim was quickly taken to the hospital and is now recovering from the wound.
