It can be recalled that the bodies, after undergoing examination by Thai forensics team, were sent back to the Wat Khao Phraya Sangkaram School in Uthai Thani province.

In the photos, one can see the pain on the faces of the victims’ relatives, many of them openly crying as they prepare to receive their loved ones’ remains.

It can be recalled that the bus, which carried a yet to be officially confirmed number of young students and teachers, caught on fire while traversing what appeared to be an urban highway.

The driver, who reportedly fled after failing to put out the fire using a fire extinguisher, was arrested by the police several hours later.

Investigation to the real cause of the fire which resulted in the death of more than twenty passengers, most of them young schoolers, is currently ongoing.

Earlier, the driver of the Thailand school bus who fled the scene while the bus was engulfed in flames was arrested by police authorities. In a report by South China Morning Post, the driver told authorities that he ran away due to panic. It can be recalled that the incident hugged headlines worldwide after it was revealed that 23 of the bus’ occupants died from the raging blaze, among them young students and teachers. According to reports, the blaze quickly spread with many of the occupants unable to escape the violent inferno.

Recently, a video of a man running to get a fire extinguisher and later trying use it to put out the flames in the Thai bus that seems to have just caught fire surfaced online and went viral. The video has already gained 1.6 million views with 26.1K reacts, 1.3K comments and 1K shares. It can be recalled that the driver of the said bus who was recently arrested by authorities said he ran to the other bus to get a fire extinguisher and attempted to put out the fire. It wasn’t clear, however, if the man in the video and the driver is one and the same person.
