In a viral CCTV footage, chess player Amina Abakarova is seen covering her rival’s table with an unidentified substance.

According to GMA News, police said the substance turned out to contain mercury, a deadly chemical.

Abakarova’s rival, European champion Umayganat Osmanova, was rushed to the hospital after being exposed to the substance.

The 39-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle and was thrown off onto the street after hitting the dog. The victim was rushed to the hospital but died due to severe injuries. Furthermore, the dog was not found at the scene of the tragic accident.
