Manny Pacquiao’s son Michael wins in his 1st amateur boxing match

Michael Pacquiao, the 20-year-old son of Manny Pacquiao, was victorious in his first amateur boxing fight yesterday, October 9.

KAMI learned that Michael defeated Nathaniel Ruiz in their three-round match at the BF Homes Phase I Gymnasium in Parañaque.

Michael got a bloody nose in the first round but he was able to maintain his composure and land the cleaner blows throughout the match, earning a decision victory.

Aside from being the son of a boxing legend, Michael is best known for his rap songs such as “Hate and “Put Your Body on Me.”

His older brother, Jimuel Pacquiao, has fought several amateur matches in the US and is continuing his training there to be a professional boxer.

Manny Pacquiao is an eight-division world boxing champion, considered one of the greatest boxers in history. He is married to Jinkee Pacquiao, whom he called his best friend. Jinkee and the boxing legend have five children – Emmanuel Jr. (Jimuel), Michael Stephen, Mary Divine Grace (Princess), Queen Elizabeth (Queenie), and Israel.

As previously reported by KAMI, Manny Pacquiao finally earned his master's degree from the Philippine Christian University. Earlier this week, the PCU held its 79th commencement exercises at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). Aside from Manny, about 30 other senate employees received their master's degree and even took photos with him.

Meanwhile, Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao flew to Germany together with their kids. On Instagram, the couple shared several photos and videos they took during the trip. Aside from visiting Germany, the Pacquiao family also decided to travel to Switzerland as well. Jinkee also took the time and effort to share some of the breathtaking landscapes they saw.
