KAMI learned that on Tuesday, October 5, Cassandra published a heartwarming post to announce that she is now pregnant with her and the basketball star’s first child.
She posted a photo of her together with Japeth holding her baby bump.

“Some miracles take a little time.."
"We are thrilled to be a small family of 3 (+5 furbabies),” she wrote in the caption.
She likewise asked for her followers’ prayers as she revealed, “I have some conditions that make this pregnancy high risk and despite taking many medications and treatments, prayers are what we need most.”
“I’ll share a little more information in the future about our struggles and experiences but right now, I just wanted to share this exciting news with all of you. We’re beyond blessed and super excited for this next chapter of our lives,” she added.

Japeth Aguilar plays as the star forward for the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel team in the PBA. He is also a member of the Gilas Pilipinas national team. His father, Peter Aguilar, was a former professional basketball player in the PBA. Japeth tied the knot with Cassandra Naidas in a simple civil ceremony in October 2019.
In a previous report by KAMI, Japeth gave a surprise to Cassandra and it was caught on video. At the NAIA Terminal 3, the basketball star made his wedding proposal to his longtime girlfriend. Cassandra got emotional and accepted her beau’s proposal.
Cassandra took to her Twitter account to share her thoughts on Japeth’s wedding proposal for her. “Thank you guys for all the messages & tweets. I’ve read all of them & appreciate each one. Here is a picture of the ring. @japethaguilar35 got me exactly what I asked for hehe," part of her tweet reads.
