Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has once again captured the internet's attention with his unique blend of humor and public service. In his latest Instagram post, the Mayor provided an "amazing video tour" of the newly inaugurated E. Santos Health Center, but it was his "floating" editing style that truly stole the show.

"Remove background lang po yan," Sotto explained to a curious netizen who was impressed by the edit. "Hindi talaga ako naglakad pabaliktad," he even added. When another fan described the video as a "pasabog" (explosive) walk-thru, Sotto wittily corrected them, saying, "Correction, this is a float-thru."

Beyond the laughs, the video highlighted significant upgrades for the community. The ₱13.5M, three-story health center is equipped with a CCTV system and fire safety features.

Sotto noted that the planning involved consulting "end users" to ensure the facility meets the actual needs of health workers and patients.

"Ang maganda sa mga bagong Health Center natin ngayon, ay pasok sila sa DOH Standards," he added, pointing out that many old centers were often too small or lacked proper infrastructure.

The project also extended outside the building, with a ₱6M investment into almost 200 meters of road pavement, drainage, and sidewalks on both sides of E. Santos.

As netizens expressed concern that he might bump his head during his "floating" tour, Sotto simply replied with a polite, "Salamat sa concern."

Vico Sotto is a Filipino politician serving as the mayor of Pasig. He joined the Aksyon Demokratiko party and was elected mayor of Pasig in 2019 and was re-elected in 2022. He was re-elected for his third consecutive term at the 2025 elections. His parents are actor-comedian-host Vic Sotto and actress Coney Reyes, with both of them supporting their son in his political endeavors.

However, all of a sudden, the old lady mentioned the name 'Aga' which caught Vico's attention. Eventually, the Mayor let out a hilarious but honest response to the old lady afterward.

Meanwhile, in the same year, Vico Sotto strongly condemned former mayoral candidate Sarah Discaya following her arrest by the NBI on December 18, 2025. The arrest stems from multiple charges including graft and malversation of public funds linked to alleged ghost flood control projects worth billions of pesos. Sotto debunked the couple's "victim narrative" by citing AMLC findings that allegedly show more than PHP 180 billion flowing into their accounts as well.
