Co was instructed to return without delay to face matters related to alleged corruption in the use of public funds for flood control projects.

The letter warned that failure to comply would be taken as refusal to submit to House processes. It also said this could lead to disciplinary and legal actions.

Dy stressed that immediate and strict compliance is expected from Co.

Reports earlier said Co was in the United States for medical treatment. House spokesperson Atty. Princess Abante confirmed his stay abroad for health reasons.

The move comes as the investigation on the controversial flood control projects continues. Co’s return is seen as crucial in addressing the accusations and ensuring accountability.
