Sen. Robin Padilla created a massive buzz due to his recent post on his Facebook account on Wednesday, May 21.

In his post, Padilla published a set of photos showing him having breakfast in The Hague, Netherlands. A cardboard standee of former President Rodrigo Duterte could also be seen beside the actor-turned-senator.

In the caption, Padilla quipped that they were having a “breakfast meeting.”

“Good vibes lang. Breakfast meeting kasama ang chairman ng Partido demokratiko ng Pilipinas,” the Duterte ally wrote in the caption.

The post then drew attention online, earning numerous reactions and shares on the said social media platform.

It is worth noting that the former leader is currently detained in the Scheveningen Prison in The Hague for charges of crimes against humanity for the extrajudicial killings during his administration’s drug war. To recall, Duterte was arrested in the Philippines by local authorities on March 11, based on a warrant of arrest issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC).
