Lolit Solis, in a lengthy Instagram post, shared her reaction to Sen. Bong Revilla losing his senatorial bid in the recently concluded 2025 midterm elections.

She expressed her deep pity for the outgoing senator and shared her belief that a smear campaign was planned against him.

“Salve hindi talaga ako nakatulog dahil sa awa kay Bong Revilla. Para bang may binayaran para siraan siya. Lahat ng paninira na ginawa sa kanya talagang alam mo na pinagpaguran para mabuo. Mga bagay na limot na ng marami pero binuhay nila ulit. Can safely say na well planned ang lahat.”

Despite Bong failing to get reelected, Lolit remained optimistic that the actor-turned-politician still has a great future ahead of him and can do a lot of things beyond politics.

“Ok lang, dahil hindi lang naman ang Senate ang mundo ni Bong Revilla. Kung iyon ibang kandidato walang fallback, si Bong marami pang puwede gawin. Malay mo, mas ngayon niya maipapakita ang mas marami niyang puwedeng gawin at magawa.”

“Makakatulong din siya sa mga projects nila Lani, Jolo at Bryan,” Manay Lolit continued, referring to other Revillas who won the recent polls.

“At mas mapapakinggan niya ngayon mga bagay bagay na research ni Inah at tulungan sa dream niya to be a doctor si Loudette. It is probably a way for him to do things na hindi niya nahaharap nuon,” Lolit also wrote.

She then comfortingly told Bong, “Basta don’t feel sad sa nangyari. Hold your head high, keep your mind bright and positive, and continue with your helping those in need.”

“Basta Bong Revilla is the real man for us, hindi iyon Senador, iyon artista o politiko, iyon tunay at tutoong Bong Revilla, the MAN di ba Salve, Gorgy at PatP, forever Bong, bongga,” she added, lauding the outgoing senator.

Lolit Solis is a well-known personality in the Philippine showbiz industry. Born on May 20, 1947, in Sampaloc, Manila, she started her career as an entertainment news writer and later became a talent manager and host of television talk shows.

Recently, Manay Lolit expressed disappointment over the partial senatorial election results, particularly Bong Revilla’s low ranking. She was alarmed by the number of votes Willie Revillame received and said she couldn’t accept the idea of him becoming a senator. Solis claimed that electing someone like Revillame would make the elections feel like a comedy and even called it a bad dream. The columnist urged voters to be wise and to choose the best leaders as a reflection of trust in those who will run the country.

Previously, the veteran columnist posted a heartfelt birthday message for Lani Mercado, who turned 57 on April 13. She praised Lani’s strength, loyalty, and her role as the legal wife of Senator Bong Revilla despite his child outside their marriage. The showbiz columnist emphasized the value of being the legitimate wife and highlighted Lani’s dignity and grace through personal challenges.
