In his lengthy post on Facebook, the congressman reflected on how his father raised him and his siblings.

He further mentioned what he learned from witnessing his dad’s headship.

He went on to lament over the current situation of the elder Duterte, who is currently in the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

“You are going through a rough time now Pa. Gusto ko magalit, na despite everything that you have done for the country, eto ang kapalit, ang hinayaan ka madala sa ibang bansa para husgahan ng mga hindi naman alam ang kalagayan ng Pilipinas. Pero alam ko ang sasabihin mo, sasabihin mo lang na ‘Pulong, you were raised right kaya yan ang ipakita mo.’”
