Padilla reminded Marcos of the unwavering support he and his group had given in the past, even when others hesitated.

Padilla urged Marcos to use his authority to put an end to the PNP’s operations, which he alleged were serving foreign interests.

He also stressed that the nation’s fate lies in Marcos’ hands and warned of the shifting geopolitical landscape.

Padilla concluded his statement by calling for national unity.

The arrest of Duterte has sparked political tensions, with supporters and allies calling for his release. Meanwhile, the PNP maintains that its actions are in line with the law.
