NBI findings ukol sa kapatid ni Alice Guo na si Wesley Guo, isiniwalat ni Sen. Gatchalian

- Suspended Bamban Mayor Alice Guo’s brother, Wesley Leal Guo, has the same fingerprints as Chinese national Guo Xiang Dian

- Sen. Win Gatchalian presented on Wednesday the documents from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) citing the matched fingerprint results

- As per the senator, Guo Xiang Dian arrived in the Philippines in 1999

- Gatchalian also told reporters that the findings prove that the late registration process in the country was abused by the Guo family

Embattled Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo’s brother, Wesley Leal Guo, is actually Chinese national Guo Xiang Dian.

On Wednesday, July 3, Sen. Win Gatchalian presented the documents from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), citing that Wesley Guo and the Chinese passport holder have the same fingerprints.

According to the senator, Guo Xiang Dian arrived in the Philippines in 1999 and was listed as the dependent son of Lin Wen Yi, which made him the brother of Guo Hua Ping or Alice Guo.

“Wesley Leal Guo is an incorporator of CDAG Reality Corporation in which Alice Guo is the majority owner,” the senator told the reporters.

“This again demonstrates that the late registration process was abused by the Guo family to falsely claim that they are Filipinos,” Gatchalian also stated.

Alice Leal Guo is the Mayor of the Municipality of Bamban, Tarlac. She won as mayor during the national elections in 2022. She became known nationwide after her name was dragged into the ongoing Senate investigations regarding Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations or (POGO) and the alleged proliferation of illegal immigrants.

Earlier, Sen. Risa Hontiveros said in a statement that the NBI has confirmed that Alice Guo’s fingerprints have matched with the said Chinese passport holder Guo Hua Ping. As per Hontiveros, the findings confirm that Alice Guo is a “Pekeng Pilipino” like what she had suspected all along. The senator likewise described Guo as a “Chinese national masquerading as Filipino citizen to facilitate crimes being committed by POGO.”

Recently, the NBI has revealed that they now have in their hands a third set of fingerprints of still an "Alice Guo." This time around, it was from a record in 2005. The result of the fingerprint is set to be released within the day.
