The senator is running for vice president in the May 2022 elections and is the running mate of VP Leni Robredo, who is running for president.
In a Twitter post, Senator Kiko expressed his wholehearted gratitude to his “pamangkins” for actively participating in what he called the fight of the current generation.

“I am really thankful sa mga pamangkin ko, @donnypangilinan, @hannahkathleenp, and @EllaPangilinanx for being part of this fight of our generation,” Senator Pangilinan tweeted.
He also added his campaign slogans in the form of hashtags #HelloPagkainGoodbyeGutom and #7KikoPangilinanVicePresident.
The senator also added the hashtag saying #LeniKikoAllTheWay, which is perhaps directed to those who are campaigning for VP Leni for president, albeit with a different candidate for vice president.
The “pamangkins” of Sen. Kiko are very active in helping their uncle in wooing voters, with Donny even singing on stage during the Pasiglaban rally last March 20.
Sen. Kiko was unable to attend the Pasiglaban because of a scheduled televised debate.
Recently, his “pamangkins” were spotted doing house to house campaign to convince voters to vote for the Leni-Kiko tandem.
Francis Pancratius Nepomuceno Pangilinan, better known as Sen. Kiko, is a Pinoy lawyer and politician currently serving as a Senator of the Republic of the Philippines. He was born on August 24, 1963 and has been very active on social issues since his student days way back in 1985. He married actress and television personality Sharon Cuneta on April 28, 1996. They have two daughters and one adopted son. He is also the stepfather of actress and singer KC Concepcion, Cuneta's daughter whom he legally adopted.
Recently, Donny was spotted doing a house to house campaign for his "godfather" and uncle, Senator Kiko, in Dumaguete. Online photos show Donny handing out flyers and face masks in several houses in Brgy. Tinago, Dumaguete City.
Sen. Kiko, on the other hand, took to Twitter and shared a photo of a rainbow that was seen in the sky. As per the senator's post, the rainbow appeared over VP Leni's white van. The time that they saw it was around 4 p.m. in Biliran. The senator noted that he was able to take the photo by chance and added that it is God's promise.
