During the interview, DJ Chacha read one listener’s question to Pacquiao, which went as follows: "Senator Manny, kung hindi ka tumatakbo sa pagkapangulo, sino ang iboboto mo among the presidential candidates?"

The boxer-turned-politican then mentioned Sen. Ping Lacson.

“Sa akin po ngayon, siguro hindi pa po ako talaga nakapag-iisip ng kung sino iboboto. Isa po siguro malapit sa puso ko ay sa akin lang si Ping Lacson,” Pacquiao answered.

Meanwhile, on his Instagram account, Lacson thanked Pacquiao and wished the both of them good luck.

“Sa seatmate ko sa Senado na malapit din sa aking puso, maraming salamat at good luck sa ating dalawa!” Lacson penned.

Manny Pacquiao is an eight-division world boxing champion, considered one of the greatest boxers in history. He also found success as a politician, first becoming a congressman before getting elected as a senator. Manny is married to Jinkee Pacquiao, whom he called his best friend. Jinkee and the boxing legend have five children – Emmanuel Jr. (Jimuel), Michael Stephen, Mary Divine Grace (Princess), Queen Elizabeth (Queenie), and Israel. Manny became the very first among presidential aspirants to file his Certificate of Candidacy for this year’s elections.

Previously, Pacquiao’s attention was caught by a vehicle with a campaign sticker, as shown in a viral video by GMA's Jun Veneracion. The said sticker bears a text that reads, “Pacquiao Hindi Magnanakaw”. After seeing the sticker, the senator also posed before the vehicle and pointed his finger at the sticker.

Earlier, Sen. Manny Pacquiao went to Caloocan to court the vote-rich city. During the said campaign, Annabelle Rama showed some support towards the presidential aspirant. On her Instagram page, Annabelle posted a video of herself waving at the boxer-turned-politican’s supporters during a caravan. She also posted a video showing Manny’s numerous supporters chanting “Pacquiao”.
