One of the photos shows the clapboard for the filming of the ad dated January 8.
Many netizens then accused Bongbong of violating quarantine protocols since he reported that he could not attend the January 7 COMELEC hearing on the disqualification cases against him because he was sick after getting exposed to people with COVID-19.
Paul then clarified that Bongbong was not present during the January 8 filming of the ad. According to the director, he and his team were filming shots in Davao during that date without the presidential candidate.

In an interview with SMNI, Paul added that Bongbong and Sara were not present for the filming from January 4-8.
"On January 8, 2022, I was in Davao with my staff and crew shooting the Davao portion of the commercial. We were in Brgy. Kapatagan capturing the beauty of Mt. Apo…
“They (Bongbong and Sara) were never with him from January 4 to January 8,” Paul explained.
Paul Soriano is a film director and producer, son of pastor Jeric Soriano. Paul married his long-time girlfriend Toni Gonzaga on June 12, 2015 in Taytay, Rizal. Toni then gave birth to their first child, Severiano Elliott, on September 30, 2016. On their wedding, one of their godfathers is former senator Bongbong Marcos.
