Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III has reacted to Vice President Leni Robredo’s criticism of Senator Ping Lacson.
During her interview with Boy Abunda, Robredo stated that people should not vote for Lacson for president because he allegedly talks a lot but lacks action.
On Twitter, Sotto said that it is wrong to say that Lacson did nothing since the latter is instrumental in the reformation of the Philippine National Police, had valuable contributions in the fight against corruption, and has authored a lot of important senate bills.
Sotto is running for vice president in the 2022 Election and his running mate is Lacson, who is running against Robredo for the presidency.

“Yun palang pinatino ang PNP, nilabanan ang korapsyon sa pera ng bayan at 18 taon na maraming mahalagang batas na inakda ay walang ginawa! Aba, bago yun ah,” Sotto tweeted.
In the comments section, one netizen clarified that Robredo was only saying that Lacson lacked action, not that he didn’t do anything.
“Hindi po ‘WALA.’ Kulang daw po,” the netizen commented.
Tito Sotto, whose full name is Vicente Sotto III, is the current Senate President in the Philippines. He rose to fame as a co-host of “Eat Bulaga,” along his brother Vic Sotto and comedian Joey de Leon. His wife is actress Helen Gamboa and they have four children: Romina, Diorella Maria, Gian Carlo and Ciara. Tito Sotto is running for vice president in the 2022 Election.
In a previous report by KAMI, Joey de Leon reacted to the rumor that he was not supporting Tito Sotto for vice president. The “Eat Bulaga” host completely denied the rumor and called it fake news. He clarified that he is fully supporting Tito in his desire to be the next vice president of the Philippines. Likewise, Joey said that he and Tito have remained friends and loyal to each other through seven presidencies already.
Vic Sotto’s daughter Paulina Sotto also went viral after expressing her support for presidential candidate Leni Robredo. Paulina posted a photo of her wearing a pink mask along with the hashtag #LABANLENI2022. She also wrote that people should not vote for someone just because they are related to that politician. Robredo’s running mate is Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
