KAMI learned that on Marcos’s Facebook account, photos of the tandem’s volunteers packing goods and donations for people in need went viral.

In the caption, Marcos thanked everyone who sent goods and donations to his headquarters.

He also encouraged the public to prioritize charity and generosity to help the Filipino people bounce back from the strong typhoon.

“Marami pong salamat sa lahat ng nagparating ng agarang tulong sa ating mga tanggapan at headquarters.
“Mahalagang maitwaid ito sa ating mga kababayan sa lalong madaling panahon.
“Ipakita natin ang pagbabayanihang Pilipino na siyang magbabangon sa atin mula anumang sakuna,” Marcos wrote on Facebook.

Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, also popularly known as BBM, is a Pinoy politician famous for being the only son of the late President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos. He served as Ilocos governor from 1998 to 2007 and then as congressman after stepping down as governor. In 2010, he ran and won as a senator and served as such until 2016. BBM then made an unsuccessful bid for the vice presidency in 2016, though protested the results of that election, alleging vote rigging and cheating.

Several days ago, former Senator Bongbong Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte formally announced their tandem to the public. In a resolution, the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), the official party of Sen. Bongbong, has endorsed the candidacy of Mayor Sara as vice president. It signaled their intention to welcome the mayor as the official running mate of Sen. Marcos. Recently, the two were spotted attending the wedding of the daughter of Senator Bong Revilla.

Weeks before the Revilla wedding event, Sen. Marcos and Mayor Sara also met in Cebu City. The former legislator, however, dismissed reports of political discussions during the said meeting. He said he was there to attend the birthday party of Congresswoman Yeda Romualdez.
