“Well, to each his own. That question would better be asked [of] my wife and my children. They have a different perspective. As far as I am concerned, sa akin I brush it off. But to them, it’s a big deal… I hope you don’t mind, but you better ask them,” Sotto told Davila on ABS-CBN News Channel’s Headstart.

The Senate President added that he would also not mind if his relatives and family members do not vote for him in the 2022 Elections. However, he would be bothered if his brother Vic Sotto and his close friend Joey de Leon would not support him.

“No, it doesn’t. It does not. I would be bothered if it’s Vic Sotto or Joey De Leon,” he explained.

Tito Sotto, whose full name is Vicente Sotto III, is the current Senate President in the Philippines. He rose to fame as a co-host of “Eat Bulaga,” along his brother Vic Sotto and comedian Joey de Leon. His wife is actress Helen Gamboa and they have four children: Romina, Diorella Maria, Gian Carlo and Ciara. Tito Sotto is running for vice president in the 2022 Elections.

In a previous report by KAMI, Joey de Leon reacted to the rumor that he was not supporting Tito Sotto for vice president. The “Eat Bulaga” host completely denied the rumor and called it fake news. He clarified that he is fully supporting Tito in his desire to be the next vice president of the Philippines. Likewise, Joey said that he and Tito have remained friends and loyal to each other through seven presidencies already.

Vic Sotto’s daughter Paulina Sotto also went viral after expressing her support for presidential candidate Leni Robredo. Paulina posted a photo of her wearing a pink mask along with the hashtag #LABANLENI2022. She also wrote that people should not vote for someone just because they are related to that politician. Robredo’s running mate is Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
