As the group attempted to cross the thoroughfare and reached the far side of the road, a motorcycle suddenly appeared and collided with one member of the party.

The force of the impact caused both the pedestrian and the motorcycle operator to be thrown several feet from the point of collision.

Local residents and barangay officials immediately rushed to the scene to provide first aid and coordinate emergency transport to a nearby medical facility.

While the extent of the injuries has not been fully detailed, both parties were reported to be conscious upon the arrival of responders.

This incident in Pangasinan follows a similar collision in Aurora, Isabela, just days prior. On Friday, two motorcycles collided along Aurora Rojas Road, resulting in injuries to three individuals, including two students.

Initial investigations suggest that one vehicle was attempting to make a turn toward a local establishment when it was struck by an oncoming motorcycle.
