The recovery operation took over four hours as forensic teams from the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) carefully excavated the site. Col. Villarosa noted that the depth and location of the burial suggested the act was premeditated.

"Based on our investigation, this was planned; a hole of that depth cannot be dug in a short amount of time," he explained in a statement to the press.

The investigation has now pivoted toward a manhunt for the family’s driver, a man who has served the Mamacs for over 20 years.

Authorities identified him as a person of interest after CCTV footage from February 12 captured a woman's cry for help coming from the residence at around 7:30 PM.

Witnesses reportedly saw the driver operating the family's white vehicle that same evening. While the vehicle was later found abandoned in the plaza of Magalang town, the driver’s whereabouts remain unknown.

Physical evidence found at the home—including traces of blood on a washing machine, a faucet, and a wheelbarrow—further links the residence to the crime.

In response to the tragedy, Pampanga 1st District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. offered a ₱200,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator.

An autopsy conducted early Tuesday morning revealed a head injury caused by a blunt object, though official results are pending.

In other news, a tricycle driver, aged 33, has entered police custody to take responsibility for the death of a 19-year-old student who disappeared earlier this month. Following an intensive search, the victim’s remains were located in a secluded field in Barangay Maddiangat just one day after she was reported missing. Investigators successfully gathered biological markers and hair strands from the suspect’s tricycle, confirming it was used to move the victim. The perpetrator confessed to trying to destroy evidence at the scene, and prosecutors are now finalizing the criminal charges for his formal inquest.

Still in other news, a group of six armed men was caught on camera during a robbery after they stormed a restaurant while a billiard tournament was being broadcast live online. Patrons and employees were stripped of their belongings, with stolen cash, mobile devices, and jewelry valued at approximately ₱200,000. Law enforcement has already tagged two individuals in the footage as "known offenders" with previous histories involving theft and narcotics. Since the establishment lacked a permanent security system, the social media broadcast has become the primary evidence used to track the fleeing suspects.
