The injuries were consistent with blunt force trauma, according to authorities.

Investigators said the suspect has yet to be identified. However, police are considering the possibility that the victim had been drinking with someone prior to the incident.

Several empty liquor bottles were reportedly recovered from the crime scene, suggesting that the victim may not have been alone before the attack.

CCTV footage from a nearby area also showed the victim purchasing alcohol from a local store earlier that evening. Authorities said this footage is now being reviewed as part of the ongoing investigation to establish the victim’s last known movements.

As the investigation continues, the victim’s family, friends, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community are calling for justice. They urged authorities to thoroughly investigate the case and hold those responsible accountable, while local police assured the public that all leads are being pursued to solve the crime.
