A traffic dispute involving a pickup truck and motorcycle riders turned physical on Saturday in Barangay Iba, Hagonoy, Bulacan, raising concerns among local residents after the incident was captured on CCTV.

According to a report by Jonathan Andal on 24 Oras Weekend, the footage showed a motorcycle crossing an intersection when it suddenly stopped to avoid a pickup truck approaching from another direction.
After the motorcycle rider resumed driving, the passenger of the pickup vehicle was seen throwing an object toward the riders.
The situation quickly escalated moments later. The motorcycle had already crossed the road when the male passenger of the pickup alighted from the vehicle and struck the motorcycle rider.

The pickup driver also got out of the vehicle, appearing to intervene and de-escalate the confrontation.
Despite the driver’s attempt to pacify the situation, the passenger reportedly threw another punch at the motorcycle rider.
The pickup driver and the rider were later seen having a brief discussion before the driver returned to his vehicle and left the area with his passenger.
As of this writing, a barangay official has yet to issue a statement regarding the incident.
The motorcycle rider, meanwhile, said he plans to undergo a medico-legal examination before providing a formal account of what happened.
Police confirmed they have not yet received a blotter report from the rider.
However, barangay authorities informed them that both parties involved in the altercation are expected to meet next week in an effort to resolve the matter.
