Experts call this a cryptic pregnancy. It happens when women miss common signs. Hormonal issues or stress can hide symptoms. Studies show that one in 500 women discovers pregnancy late.
In cryptic cases, women lack or misinterpret these signs. They might have light bleeding mistaken for periods, no nausea, minimal weight gain (or attribute it to diet), and no strong fatigue or cravings. Tests can give false negatives if hCG levels stay low. This leads to a surprise discovery, often with risks like missing prenatal care.
Moreover, the woman was worried about the baby's health. But she gave birth to a healthy girl named Saraya. Mother and baby did well, and the family bought supplies in a hospital rush.
Kuya Kim Atienza reported the story on 24 Oras. The woman welcomes 2026 with gratitude. She embraces sudden motherhood.
