The legal counsel of Vinz Jimenez has issued an official statement following the circulation of a social media video linked to an alleged cheating incident.

The statement, released by Rimando Law Office, aimed to clarify the circumstances surrounding the post and to address the growing public attention it has received online.

“This statement is issued by counsel, Rimando Law Office, for Mr. Vinz Jimenez in relation to a social media post that has circulated publicly,” the lawyer said.

According to the statement, the video was shared during a period when Jimenez was experiencing emotional strain connected to a deeply personal matter.

“The post was made during a period of emotional strain arising from a personal matter and represents Mr. Jimenez's subjective account of events as he understood and experienced them at the time,” counsel explained.

The statement emphasized that the content should be viewed as a personal expression rather than a definitive account of facts.

The lawyer further clarified that there was no malicious intent behind the upload.

“It was not authored with intent to injure, malign or cast aspersions upon any person,” the statement read.

The counsel added that the post was made in good faith and without any aim to stir controversy or damage reputations.

“The content of the post was expressed in good faith and without malice,” the lawyer said.
“It was neither calculated to provoke public hostility nor designed to cause reputational harm,” the statement continued, describing the video as an unguarded reaction to a private situation.

Following the backlash and widespread discussion, Jimenez has reportedly decided to withdraw from further public engagement on the issue.

“Mr. Jimenez has since elected to disengage from further public discourse on the matter and respectfully seeks privacy moving forward,” the counsel stated.

The law office also made it clear that any future concerns should be addressed formally.

“All inquiries shall be coursed exclusively through undersigned counsel,” the statement concluded.

In a previous KAMI report, a family of three was brutally slain inside their own store in Barangay Mallorca, San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija. CCTV footage captured three men entering the shop, pulling down the roll-up door, and opening fire on the victims. One of the suspects was also seen taking a bag and a cellphone before escaping. A report by Gary De Leon on TV5 Frontline Pilipinas revealed that the family had allegedly been receiving threats after lending ₱1 million to a fellow barangay resident, who was said to have used the money to start a business.

Meanwhile, another local incident that went viral involved a 51-year-old public school teacher in Las Piñas City who was stabbed several times by her husband. According to EJ Gomez’s report on Unang Balita, the 38-year-old suspect attacked the victim inside the school’s faculty room. Authorities noted that although the school had a security guard, the suspect was able to enter and leave without difficulty because he was familiar to the staff. The suspect later claimed he went to the school to speak with his wife and resolve their problems, but an argument reportedly broke out and turned violent.
