The incident has drawn public attention after videos and photos of the alleged gathering circulated widely on social media.

According to the Philippine National Police Regional Public Information Office in Eastern Visayas, the officers involved were assigned to the Dolores Municipal Police Station.

The number of personnel removed reportedly accounts for nearly half of the station’s entire police force, raising concerns about discipline and adherence to established protocols within the unit.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Analoza Catilogo-Armeza confirmed that drinking alcoholic beverages inside a police station is strictly prohibited under PNP rules.

Authorities emphasized that police facilities are expected to maintain professionalism at all times, regardless of occasion or celebration.

Included among those relieved of their posts was the chief of the Dolores Municipal Police Station, along with one non-uniformed personnel.

The removal of ranking officers highlights the seriousness with which the PNP is treating the incident, as leadership is expected to set an example for subordinates.

Following the mass relief, the PNP assured the public that measures are already in place to prevent any disruption in police services.

Catilogo-Armeza stated that personnel from other units will be reassigned to temporarily fill the vacancies left by the relieved officers.

The PNP reiterated its commitment to enforcing internal discipline and maintaining public trust.

Officials stressed that any behavior that undermines the integrity of the police force will be dealt with accordingly, especially when incidents become highly visible to the public through social media.

Firefighters from the Navotas Fire Station’s rescue unit eventually arrived and used hydraulic equipment to free her arm within about five minutes. The victim was rushed to a hospital after losing consciousness, and her relatives later disclosed that she is experiencing severe emotional trauma, along with significant swelling in her injured arm.
