Broadcast journalist Ramon Tulfo has come to the defense of his brother, Senator Raffy Tulfo, after rumors circulated online accusing the lawmaker of womanizing.

In a recent statement, Ramon said he found the claims difficult to believe, stressing that the senator is far from the type of man described in the allegations.
Ramon explained that his brother is known within the family for his deep respect for his wife, Jocelyn Tulfo.
He said, “Hindi ako makapaniwala sa balita dahil takusa ang kapatid ko kay Jocelyn.”

He emphasized that the senator has always been cautious and mindful when it comes to his marriage.
He then added a provocative remark to underline his point about the alleged affair.
Ramon said, “Pero pagpalagay na natin na totoo: Eh, ano ngayon kung nambabae siya?”
The broadcaster questioned why the rumor had gained such traction and argued that the matter should not be sensationalized.
Ramon went on to compare the situation to the behavior of another unnamed public official.
He said, “Ang nakakahiya ay kung nanlalake ang kapatid ko gaya ng isang lalakeng mambabatas na mahilig sa basketbolista.”
The statement drew attention online, with many speculating about whom he was referring to.
