People cannot identify who keeps throwing the stones, and the noise has been happening since October 2025.
Reports say a suspect was found and interviewed by authorities on October 28.
Attacks still continued just days later, and many residents claim it now happens more often.
One resident, Beverly Embornal, said the sudden loud thuds disturb their rest.
A video taken by another resident caught the strong sound of stones landing on the roofs.
One house even had its window broken after repeated hits.
Another resident, Shirley Biagtan, shared that her 16-year-old child was struck by a stone that bounced off their door.
She felt angry and wanted to confront the culprit but learned about the incident too late.
Barangay council members and police increased their patrols from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. while the investigation continues.
Barangay Chairperson Teofilo Frianieza Jr. said most incidents happen between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. He added that stones often come in waves, with two or three throws within the same night.
Local officials also proposed funds for new CCTV cameras.
They hope added security will help them identify whoever is behind the latest stone-throwing incidents and finally stop the disturbance in the community.
