A teen in Quezon province has been rescued after falling victim to an alleged assault and blackmail scheme orchestrated by a man she met online. PBGen. According to Asueta, the suspect enticed the victim to visit his residence in Sariaya, Quezon by offering her P200.
Believing she was simply going to collect the money, the woman went to his home unaware that it was a trap.
Once she arrived, the suspect allegedly forced her inside, used a firearm to instill fear, and recorded the s3xual assault.

“Pagpasok niya sa bahay, siya ay tinakot, pinagsamantalahan... at kinunan ng video,” Asueta said.
Several days after the assault, the man reportedly threatened to release the video online if she did not agree to meet him again.
The harassment escalated when he allegedly sent the video to one of the victim’s friends, leaving her distressed and terrified.
This prompted her to finally confide in her mother, who immediately sought help from authorities.
Police responded quickly and set up an entrapment operation in Sariaya. The suspect was apprehended on Wednesday night.
The victim is now staying with her parents while the PNP-ACG works with social workers to provide her psychological support and ensure her safety.
Asueta emphasized that many victims do not initially recognize they are being exploited, especially when manipulation and threats are involved.
Authorities are preparing charges against the suspect as the investigation continues.

In a previous report by KAMI, a family of three was mercilessly shot and killed inside their store in Barangay Mallorca, San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija. Caught by CCTV, three men entered their store, closed the roll-up door, and shot the entire family to death. Before fleeing, one of the suspects even grabbed a bag and a mobile phone from the victim. In a report by Gary De Leon of TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' the family started getting threats after lending P1-M to one of the residents of their barangay; allegedly using the money for business.
In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public school teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but, being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
