A man who had been in critical condition following an explosion at an illegal firecracker workshop in Barangay Tebeng, Dagupan City has passed away, according to a report from GMA Regional TV aired on "Balitanghali" on Friday.

The victim, who sustained full-thickness burns during the incident, fought for his life for nearly three days before he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities said the blast occurred inside an unauthorized facility used for producing firecrackers, a practice that has long posed danger to communities, especially as the holiday season approaches.
The victim was the most severely injured in the incident, though his family declined to issue any public statement regarding his death.

Sa isa pang viral na lokal na ulat, isang 51-anyos na titser sa pampublikong paaralan sa Las Piñas City ang pinagsasaksak nang maraming beses ng sarili niyang asawa. Ayon sa ulat ni EJ Gomez sa “Unang Balita,” naganap ang krimen sa loob mismo ng faculty room ng paaralan. Sinabi ng pulisya na may security guard naman ang paaralan, ngunit dahil pamilyar ang mukha ng suspek, madali itong nakapasok at nakalabas. Ayon sa suspek, pumunta lamang siya roon upang kausapin ang kanyang asawa at ayusin ang kanilang hindi pagkakaintindihan, ngunit nauwi ito sa matinding alitan.
