The woman was transported to the emergency room by her former boyfriend, who told authorities that they were together at his home when he suddenly noticed she was no longer responsive.
“Nung tingnan niya ‘yung katabi niya, parang wala nang buhay. Kaya isinugod niya sa ospital,” QCPD spokesperson Police Major Jennifer Gannaban said.
Hospital staff notified Police Station 1 early Monday to report the incident, prompting investigators to begin their inquiry.

Initial medical findings indicated that the victim died due to cardio-respiratory distress.
“Ang hospital mismo ‘yung tumawag sa Police Station 1… kaya pinuntahan ng Station 1 and ‘yun nga ‘yung nailagay nila sa report,” Gannaban added.
Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) conducted an inspection of the ex-boyfriend’s residence and found no signs of forced entry or disturbance. Investigators did note bruises on the victim’s thigh, but stressed that it remains premature to link these to foul play.
“Sa initial examination natin, so far walang nakitang str@ngulation o mga pasa na dahilan sa pagkamatay ng biktima,” said Police Lieutenant Colonel Edison Ouano, chief of QCPD-CIDU.
He emphasized that an autopsy is standard procedure in cases where the cause of death is unclear.
“Isa ‘yan sa SOP natin… para malaman talaga kung ano ang cause.”
The ex-boyfriend declined to issue further statements and is now in police custody as authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the model’s death.

According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but, being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
