In related news, two motorcycle riders were injured after being struck by a fallen section of an electronic billboard during Typhoon “Uwan”. The incident happened along Aurora Boulevard–Katipunan Service Road southbound around 9 a.m. on Monday. The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital with facial swelling, chest pain, and shoulder injuries.

Earlier, three people, including five-year-old twins, died in Nueva Vizcaya during the onslaught of Super Typhoon “Uwan”. The twins were buried alive in a landslide in Kayapa town, while three of their relatives were brought to a nearby hospital. Authorities suspect the third fatality also died due to a landslide, as most incidents in the province were caused by soil collapse.
