A mother passed away after the motorcycle she was riding crashed into a center island in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

The motorcycle was being driven by her son. CCTV footage from Aguinaldo Highway showed the motorcycle moving toward the inner lane when it suddenly slipped and hit the center island.
The impact was strong, causing the mother, who was the back rider, to die on the spot. Her son survived the crash and is currently being treated in the hospital.
Based on the police investigation, the rider lost control of the motorcycle, which led to the accident.
Authorities reminded the public to always ride carefully, especially on busy roads, and to maintain proper handling and speed to avoid similar incidents.
The investigation continues as the family grieves the loss.
