Acting Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez called the incident a clear display of recklessness, warning that such behavior endangers not only the driver but also other motorists and pedestrians.
He also reminded the public that responsible and disciplined driving should always take priority over personal gratification.

The LTO issued a show cause order summoning the driver to appear before the agency’s Intelligence and Investigation Division in Quezon City on October 30.
The driver was asked to explain why he should not be charged with Reckless Driving and violation of the Anti-Distracted Driving Act, and why his license should not be suspended or revoked for being an “Improper Person to Operate a Motor Vehicle.”
According to the order, the driver’s license will be "preventively suspended for 90 days" pending the investigation, and his Ferrari with plate number NBY7985 has been placed under alarm status.
