According to a statement posted on the LTO’s official Facebook page, authorities initially stopped the vehicle for the unauthorized blinker.
Upon inspection, they found that the temporary plate attached to the SUV bore an incorrect motor vehicle file number, prompting a deeper verification.
When the SUV was brought to the LTO Central Office, records from the LTO Law Enforcement Service revealed that the vehicle already had an official plate number issued in 2023, but it was not attached.
