A tragic road incident happened along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City when a UV Express driver plowed through multiple vehicles, resulting in one death and three people injured.

The collision involved 12 motorcycles and two cars, causing panic and chaos in the area.

Based on a report by GMA News’ 24 Oras, a video captured the UV Express crashing into several vehicles without stopping.

A nearby truck attempted to block the van’s path but failed, allowing the suspect to escape. Authorities later managed to arrest him.

The driver explained that he got into a confrontation with another motorist, which caused him to lose his temper.

However, he said he could no longer remember who the other driver was.

According to the police, initial tests showed the suspect was negative for alcohol.

They plan to conduct a drug test next to rule out substance use.

The Land Transportation Office has started its own investigation to determine whether the driver should face additional penalties or have his license revoked.

Officials are also reviewing traffic camera footage and witness statements to fully understand what triggered the violent road rampage.

Authorities reminded drivers to stay calm on the road and avoid letting emotions lead to reckless actions that could endanger lives.
