A viral CCTV video on social media showed several men assaulting people inside a house in Pasig City.

Based on police investigation, the conflict began when a woman left her live-in partner, who was among the suspects, and went to stay in the said house.

According to a report by Jun Veneracion on GMA News 24 Oras, the footage showed the suspects punching and kicking the male residents.

The woman living in the house was also physically attacked. One of the suspects even pulled out what looked like a gun from his bag.

He later tried to open a bathroom door, where a woman eventually came out — the same woman who had left him.

The suspects later took her with them when they left the area.

Police conducted verification after the video circulated online and found that the incident happened on September 23 in Barangay Pinagbuhatan.

Pasig Police chief Colonel Hendrix Mangaldan said there was no kidnapping involved since both parties knew each other and only had a misunderstanding.

Authorities also confirmed that the gun seen on CCTV was actually a toy. Police have already summoned the suspects for questioning.

Mangaldan said charges of physical injury, trespassing, and grave threat may be filed, depending on the results of their investigation and the statements of the victims.

Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but, being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
