She addressed the issue in a Facebook post on Wednesday, October 8.

Guanzon said some people are bashing her for being vocal about government issues while claiming she gives little help during calamities.

The former commissioner also criticized officials who place their names and faces on relief goods or government aid.

She called them shameless, saying those funds come from taxpayers, not from their personal pockets.

Guanzon mocked them by saying they post their faces as if they were beautiful when, in truth, they are not.

She then stressed the need to pass the late Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago’s Anti-Epal Bill, which aims to stop politicians from claiming credit for government projects.

Guanzon said this kind of behavior is annoying and must end, calling out officials who pretend to hate traditional politics but act like traditional politicians themselves.

Recently, she also mentioned former PNP Chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III as an example of an official who allowed himself to be used by those in power despite his sacrifices and loyalty.
