According to Police Lt. Col. John Guiagui, chief of CIDG-NCR, the pair surfaced after police follow-up operations led them to Recto, Manila.

The male suspect was also seen withdrawing cash from an ATM.

Guiagui noted, “Ang sinasabi nila is may pinagbilhan sila na tao. Nagtataka lang kami of all credit cards, ‘yung nawawala pa ang nasa kamay nila.”

Authorities are investigating their possible connection to the disappearance of Henry, his wife Margie, and their business partner, Richard Cadiz, who have been missing since July.

The suspects denied involvement, claiming they only purchased the cards from a scavenger.

“Wala po kaming alam sa mga nangyari,” the male suspect said, while the woman admitted they resold the phones for money.

Police discovered that the male suspect has a pending case in Makati for a similar offense under the Access Devices Regulation Act.
