Korina Sanchez has once again shown her candid side on social media after replying to a follower who commented on her past interviews featuring members of influential families, often referred to as “nepo families.”

In the comments section of her latest post on Instagram, a netizen left a remark highlighting the supposed significance of her interviews.

The comment read: “Thank you sa pag guest sa mga nepo family. Kung hindi dahil sa inyo, wala sana tayong ebidensyang magagamit against them. Bless your heart siz.”

The veteran broadcast journalist then offered a straightforward response.

“Hahaha it was not the intention naman at the time,” she said, making it clear that the interviews were not originally meant to serve as critical material against her guests.

Earlier, Veteran journalist and host Korina Sanchez and her camp called out Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto for his recent Facebook post slamming certain journalists for interviewing Sarah and Curlee Discaya before the 2025 Election. In the viral post, the mayor said that journalists and news personalities should have asked themselves first why those people were supposedly willing to pay millions just to be interviewed. He also shared screenshots from Korina and Julius Babao’s separate interviews with the Discayas. Korina’s camp then released a statement regarding the post.
