Vico Sotto to Discayas: "These are people who are really capable of lying..."

• Vico Sotto, once again, issued a stern warning to the public about being careful with the things that they hear about the current issues of the Philippines
• In the hearing at the House of Representative today, Mayor Vico, accused the Discayas of lying
• He also mentioned the alleged lie in the 2-3% contract cost, which Curlee Discaya mentioned in his sworn statement yesterday at the senate Blue Ribbon Committe hearing
• Vico said, "In my experience with them, Mr. Chair, these are people who are really capable of lying without batting an eyelash"

Vico Sotto once again reminded the public to be cautious about the things they hear regarding the country’s issues.

During today’s hearing at the House of Representatives, Mayor Vico accused the Discayas of lying.

He pointed out the supposed false claim about the 2-3% contract cost mentioned by Curlee Discaya in his sworn statement at the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing yesterday.

Vico said that based on his experience, the couple are capable of lying without hesitation.

"In my experience with them, Mr. Chair, these are people who are really capable of lying without batting an eyelash," Mayor Vico said.

Vico also said, "Alam naman po lahat ng tao sa kwarto na ito na may guilty na senador, may guilty na congressman, may guilty na DPWH officials, may guilty na contractor. Maaaring sa iba pang ahensiya ng pamahalaan. Pero sa puntong ito, nakikita po natin, hindi lang sila basta naglalaglagan. Gusto nilang magulo ang kwento. Gusto nila lituhin tayo. Gusto nila na hindi na natin malalaman kung ano'ng totoo para, eventually, mawawala na lang na parang bula. Magkakalituhan na tayo, hindi na natin malalaman kung ano'ng totoo sa hindi. Magbabanggit na lang nang kung ano na wala naman silang pruweba o ebidensiya."

The move came after a viral interview where Discaya showed their collection of high-end cars. BOC will check the consignee of the vehicles to see if there were violations in their importation Discaya has also been connected to contractors of flood control projects now under Senate investigation.

She wrote in the first part of her post, "My P10 Million Palace," which was somehow related to the allegations thrown against her by Mayor Vico Sotto.
