The Baguio City Police Office reminded the public to respect recreational spaces and avoid acts considered indecent or immoral.
“Sana po respetuhin natin ang mga parks dahil siyempre this are intended for recreation or relaxation at ipinagbabawal ang mga paggawa ng illegal activities o anumang indecent or immoral activities,” said Police Major Marcy Grace Marron, spokesperson of the Baguio City Police Office.
Police stressed that parks are meant to provide relaxation and enjoyment for families, children, and the community, and that any inappropriate behavior undermines the purpose of such spaces. Authorities are still trying to obtain the couple’s statement as of this writing.
