On X, formerly Twitter, the Kapuso journalist and documentarist reacted to the way certain lawmakers and government figures react to issues of corruption and governance.

“Ang cringe ng performative outrage ng ibang mambabatas at opisyal natin,” he remarked, highlighting what he considered staged and exaggerated displays of anger from officials.

“Eh sila naman yung nakikinabang sa korapsyon,” he continued.

He added, “Para namang kaming ipinanganak kahapon mga mamser,” indicating that people should not be treated as if they are oblivious to the realities of politics and governance in the country.
