Lee shared that the dogs were first abandoned outside their workplace in Kuwait when they were still puppies.

As the number of animals grew, the couple built a small shelter to care for them.

However, authorities later ordered the shelter’s demolition and warned that the dogs would be released into the desert if no one adopted them.

Unable to accept this fate, Lee and Luage arranged to bring them back to the Philippines.

With the help of concerned individuals, the couple was able to secure the travel and safe arrival of the dogs in Cebu.

Once in Sibonga, they constructed a sanctuary where the animals could freely live and play. Lee and Luage expressed happiness in seeing their pets enjoy their new home.

The couple is determined to bring the remaining 11 dogs from Kuwait soon.

“You don’t need to be an animal lover or dog lover, it’s humanity,” Lee said, emphasizing the importance of helping those in need.
