Another CCTV angle showed the men fleeing toward EDSA Monumento.

According to the victim’s relative, the rider had just finished a delivery and was about to wait for his next booking at a nearby fast-food chain when the crime occurred.

“Noong hinila yung motor niya ng isang lalaki, tapos biglang lumapit yung dalawa tapos tinutukan siya sa tagiliran tapos pilit siyang pinapababa. Tinulak pa nga niya yun eh. Buti nga hindi siya sinaksak. Hinabol niya pa, hinabol niya pa po yung motor hanggang doon labasan sa may EDSA,” the relative recounted.

The rider, who has been in the job for six years, is still paying for the motorcycle on installment for another year and a half.

The suspects also took his cellphone and ₱5,000 intended for their rent.

”Doon lang kami kumukuha ng hanap-buhay niya... kaya ang hirap po na wala kaming hanap-buhay ngayon,” the relative added.

Barangay officials have since doubled their patrols. Police are coordinating with the barangay and the victim to identify the suspects.
