The friend was supposed to be taken to the hospital after suffering a head injury from being hit with a bottle for an unknown reason.

According to barangay tanod Alex Recundo, father of the two brothers, one of his sons called him during his duty to respond to the bottle attack incident.

He said he went home to get his baton and woke up his youngest son.

The injured friend arrived at their home and rode at the back of the motorcycle, but they met the accident on the way to Tala Hospital.

Recundo was stunned to find out that the crash victims he responded to were his own children.

A witness said the motorcycle was speeding before the crash.

A barangay official noted that the area is accident-prone, which is why warning signs have been installed to remind motorists to slow down.

Recundo is now asking for financial help to cover the expenses for his sons’ treatment and the burial of his child who died in the accident.
