Authorities said residents discovered the victim unconscious inside a tricycle at Villa Beatriz Subdivision, Purok 3, Barangay Tambo around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 31.
She sustained severe bruises on her face and body and was rushed to a hospital but died hours later.
For days, her identity remained unknown, prompting authorities to bury her temporarily.

“Swollen 'yun eyes niya. Lumalabas sa bibig at ilong 'yung dugo. Base sa autopsy, ang cause ng death niya ay mauling o pambubugbog,” said P/Lt. Col. Aleli Buaquen, chief of Lipa City Police Station.
CCTV footage showed the victim exiting a house at 2:00 a.m., struggling to walk, and sitting on a pavement near where she was found.
Investigators traced earlier footage, showing the victim with a man, who was identified as the owner of the house she left. The victim's underwear was also found inside the house.
The suspect was arrested and confessed. “Hindi ko po sinasadya,” he said, claiming an argument escalated after an alleged agreement for s&xual services.
On Monday, the victim’s siblings positively identified her. Her brother shared they last spoke through chat and had not seen each other for four years.
Originally from Sagay City, Negros Occidental, the victim had several children awaiting her return.
Due to financial constraints, her family opted not to exhume her remains but plans to place a tombstone at her burial site. The suspect now faces murder charges.
