The search warrant was issued by a Nueva Vizcaya court and was implemented by joint forces of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Authorities noticed that Mary Jane appeared to have swallowed something during the search, raising suspicions that she may have ingested more sachets of shabu in an attempt to hide evidence.

Her live-in partner, who was also listed as a target of the search operation, was not present during the raid and is currently being sought by authorities.

The suspect is now in police custody and will face drug-related charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Dr&gs Act of 2002.

Law enforcement agencies vowed to continue their intensified campaign against illegal dr&gs in the province, warning that operations will persist until drug syndicates and their street-level distributors are dismantled.
