Authorities hunt man dancing in underwear on moving tricycle in Iloilo City

According to a report by GMA Regional TV One Western Visayas on Thursday, the video was taken in the early hours along Diversion Road in Mandurriao.

The man, who was also wearing a helmet, was filmed performing the dangerous stunt, which Land Transportation Office-Region 6 Director Atty. Guidioso Geduspan II strongly condemned.

“This reckless act not only endangers the person involved but also compromises the safety of other motorists,” Geduspan stated.

The LTO is now seeking assistance from the public to identify the man and others involved in the incident to summon them and issue a show cause order.

Iloilo City Mayor Raisa Treñas also expressed her outrage over the incident.

“As a woman, a mother, and your mayor, I cannot ignore the disturbing video circulating online showing a man, wearing only briefs, dancing and exposing himself atop a moving tricycle along Diversion Road, Mandurriao,” Mayor Treñas said in a statement.
“This act is not only indecent, it is also dangerous and irresponsible. Such acts of public indecency and blatant disregard for road safety have no place in a city that values discipline, respect, and decency,” she added.

Mayor Treñas has ordered the Traffic Transportation Management Office and the Iloilo City Police Office to investigate and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
