A dead baby boy was discovered floating in a creek in Barangay San Vicente, Angono, Rizal.
According to residents, the body had been in the water for about two days.
At first, people thought it was only a toy because the baby was floating among garbage, dead fish, and a rat.
It was only when flies started to land on the body that they realized it was a real child.

A concerned resident went into the creek to recover the baby.
The child had no clothes and looked helpless.
Witnesses said the baby’s umbilical cord was gone and there was a visible mark on his neck, which looked like a wound.
The body was carefully wrapped while waiting for the authorities to arrive.
Barangay officials said that they have not received any reports of a missing baby in the area.
Police also checked nearby towns like Binangonan and Cainta to see if any families were looking for a lost infant.
The case has now been turned over to SOCO (Scene of the Crime Operatives) to find out if foul play was involved.
The investigation continues to find out who the baby was, where he came from, and how he ended up in the creek.
